Yes, she can get pregnant. The eggs are still being released from the one ovary that is working.

I jut found this:

Q: I had my left ovary removed some years ago. Does that mean I can only get pregnant every other month and will I be less likely to get pregnant?

A: A newborn girl has about 1-2 million egg cells, and by puberty there are about 300,000 left in both ovaries. Even with one ovary removed you have about 150,000 eggs left over, so your chances of getting pregnant are excellent and because the remaining ovary usually takes over you are expected to ovulate every month.
Ovulating every month means that you can get pregnant every month, even with one ovary.

This is a question that the average person should know the answer to, as it has to do with basic fertility, so I think it's a good question. Also, a man with one testicle can still make children. Aren't most schools still covering this stuff?
I hope so...

I knew, kinda, but she has such a history of problems and at the hospital they gave us a leaflet about artificial insemination or something like, in Thai of course. I just put 1 + 1 + 1 together and got 5.

If a woman only has one working ovary yes it's possible to get pregnant, but just like a woman with a tilted uterus it's going to take some time and some advice from the doctor concerning health issues and other things.

Hey, I don't know yet. But I know if we do have a nipper it's going to make things even more complicated than they already are. Only just managed to get my folks to come out to meet her, and that went amazingly well. I don't want to rock the boat now.

Well SuperiorTe unfortunately you weren't careful enough and now you have to deal with the consequences! If you're not ready to have children then you should take precautions. You have many options, but make sure the feelings are mutual. Your girlfriend is going to need lots of support. And although it does seem like a burden right now I believe that things happen for a reason and it could actually be one of the best things that happen to you.

So don't freak out just yet...and wear a fucking rubber! lol

Ah a subject i know something about, the chances of getting pregnant with only one ovary are only reduced by a small percentage.

The reason is that the hypothalamic pituitary/ovarial feedback mechanism which causes ovulation works nearly as well with one as with two ovaries

Even if the fallopian tube ob the side of the working ovary is blocked there is only a small reduction in fertility!
I feel pretty, that's enough
