Folks, I´m tired of radio ( who isn´t ?) and even my last resort over here, JamFM, has gone to the dogs over the last couple of years ( they used to be kinda cool when they still had their old DJs such as Kenny and some other dudes who played REAL soul and funk and housemusic) but now that they´ve fired almost 99% of their old staff, they have become the radio equivalent to MTV.

Anyway, I´m looking for some easy,uncomplicated,VERY easy to access internet radion station that plays house, trance, old school soul and funk,reggae and hip hop...the ones I do listen to are sometimes a bit slow or play too much bullshit inbetween the good songs. Plus, I´m a total idiot when it comes to internet radio, I really don´t have a clue and I think a lot of the stuff I listen to is just some sample, snippet, stream stuff, but I digress....could any of you cool org guys post a few links for me so that I can bookmark them ?

I know there are quite a few helpful people here when it comes to computers and internet info, so, any info is highly appreciated.

Of course I´ve tried to google some but that only lead to more confusion since most of the links were either not working or you had to pay for them. I´m looking for some easy access stuff I can listen to while doing the dishes and cleaning my kitchen, no downloads,no nothing, just some beats to entertain me.

Yahoo! Music Launchcast Radio. I really like it. For commercial free music and genre selections, it has been a long-time music choice for me. I use it off my Yahoo IM Messenger. I listen to it while I am getting ready for work.. or just hanging out. I have ok. external speakers so I can jack it up pretty loud if I am busy throughout my home.

I have the Music Choice through my cable as well... commercial free as well.



Ps~ You can choose genre (Urban, Jazz/Blues, Dance/Electronic, etc. the list seems endless) then it takes you to another long list of categories of specifics within that specific genre... including some specific years such as the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's...

There is a lot to choose from.
