I don't know that I'd spend hundreds on a gift necessarily. It would depend on the situation.

I budget and I'm very sensible with money, but I also feel like life should be enjoyed and that you have to "reward" yourself too.

Are u kidding ..isn't that what we are living for...lets have fun ...I'm not going to chuck it around but hell Im still gonna have fun ....and being able to get something great for family and friends ..on birthdays and/or xmas is so much better than receiving...if I know they will love it I will happily spend hundreds!!
