Holy crap that's a long commute! I don't know how people do that. Mine is 18 miles and I think that's obscene! My god, doesn't it drive you crazy? And yes, I take the bus. It's really not that bad. It's only added about an hour total to my day for the commute and I get a bus pass good for any time anywhere that's subsidized through my company that only costs me (after taxes) $10 every 2 weeks. So since I can get just about anywhere for $20 a month, I really can't see suddenly shelling out a car payment, insurance, gas and maintenance ($500 a month?) to have a car again. At least not yet.  |
