Oh and in defense of my mom's craziness, she was abandoned and abused all her life, she wasn't raised by her parents, and was on the streets by age 12. She didn't have a decent blueprint on "how to properly raise kids" or a decent support system. Well, now she does in me.

over the years I've told them most everything...it's hard for them to hear because it reflectd that they weren't payin' attention. But I was never a shy or secretive kid. I had my permission to smoke cigs from both parents by 13 so...I dunno.
I think it might be the other way around...my mom has had to tell me somethings that I'm sure she thought I'd kill her over.
the "worst" thing (to me) I ever did was as an adult...and it was hard to admit it to my parents... I "chewed and screwed" (meaning had dinner and didn't pay the bill) at a resturant one time....I'm still baffled by it...it's not something I'm proud of for sure and it's way outta character for me. My mom knows everything I've done. Underaged drinking, various drugs, sex, the whole shebang. Since nothing I did is a serious offence legally or morally, she doesn't much care. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |
