Romance

I'm curious... what is the most romantic thing that you have done for someone or what is the most romantic thing that someone has done for you?

I gave him a long, warm, lavendar bath...followed by a massage...with scented candles awaiting an already turned down bed.

He was someone I didn't know personally - I was his hairstylist...he sent me (at work) a dozen long-stemmed roses, and a huge (and I mean HUGE) box of Godiva chocolates in a beautiful gold box...and did it without sexual thoughts.

During one of my grandparents last anniversary prior to my grandfathers death my mother planned a surpise dinner for them. She cooked shrimp and lobster while they were out "Studying". When they came home my brother and I acted like waiters and sat them at a beautifully crystal set candle-lit dinner for two. My mom served them and we popped their favorite movie in the vcr, Gone W/ The Wind.

My grandma still says it was one of the best times she has had...

Oh allright!

It was a beautiful June day, the sun was shining. My companion called and suggested we take a drive to the mountains. We drove and drove. He finally stopped the car by this brook. He took out the blanket, had me sit down. He then went to the car and pulled out a picnic basket. He had wine, cheese, chicken the works. We ate, and after that we made the best love one could imagine. After the lovemaking we fell asleep to the sound of the river flowing.

Well, I grabbed this babe off of a boat, killed a bunch of those "men" things, and drug her back to my lair! I planned on spawning with her, but one of those dudes I somehow missed showed up and shot me! Whatta dick!

I think I had the chick pretty excited too! She was screaming the whole time!

The most romantic thing I've done is write a poem for a girl I was in love with. Unfortunately, she was engaged when I met her, otherwise I'm sure the sparks between us were there because she told me if she wasn't engaged I'd be the one for her.

For Gisele

What is it that I see in you?
That makes me feel what I'm feeling for you
You're the kind of woman I want in my life
You are the kind of woman I'd like to be my wife

Do I love you? I think I might
I try and try, but I just can't quite
Bring myself to tell you just how I feel
To tell you this feeling in my heart might be real

I know you've all ready given your heart away
And I know from him you will never sway
But if some day your love should end
I hope you'll think of me, your best friend

I know that love with you could be great
And I feel it that we met because of fate
And if some day you are again free to love
I hope that I will be the one you think of
bananadance--If a man is considered guilty for what goes on in his mind, then give me the electric chair for all my future crimes.--bananadance Electric Chair/Batman/Prince

For some reason romance has never worked for me. There's been times where things SHOULD have been romantic...but it either turned really naughty or we'd fight!
