Two things I didn't understand about last night's episode: Why in the world is Sylar working with the company? Are his mommy issues so deep that he'll do anything Mama Petrelli says because she told him he's her son? When Claire's mom was using up all the oxygen in the storage container with her flame and making Claire suffocate, shouldn't she have been suffocating too? Doesn't she need to breathe as well? Or was Claire just panicking/hyperventilating?  She wasn't really suffocating, that was the whole point of the waterboarding conversation. Or that's how I was taking it. But it was poorly scripted. Not only was the mom still breathing, but how was her fire still burning if there wasn't any oxygen? I know she creates the fire, but still. The Sylar thing bugs me too. Does he do anything but kill people and take their powers? He doesn't really seem to have ambitions of world domination or riches or anything. It's cool if he's just an evil serial killer, but those types aren't usually social and don't agree to go back into a cage at the end of the day. | |

In the first season Sylar did have plans for world domination since in the future he was the president. But since he lost almost all of his acquired powers (I think) last season, now he just wants to replace them and collect more. | |
