I enjoyed it even though I had forgotten much of last season. I do have to say it's sort of back to form. The Pre-Episode was all about ass kissing I thought.
It's VERY hard for me to NOT think about the 4400 when I watch this show. Christian Zombie Vampires

And I'm a little wary of season three but I'll give it a chance. It looks like they're going to rip off the "Days of Future Past" storyline from X-Men, though, but I should wait and watch it before I jump to conclusions. The whole series is an Xmen rip off, though. It's still fun stuff. X-Men vs 4400 Christian Zombie Vampires

I just want Lost to start up again I do think it's the best superhero show probably produced for television. While I do enjoy the Wonder Woman/Bionic Man/Woman type of stuff, there were so many cheesy/campy moments. At least Heroes tries to be serious in the content. Christian Zombie Vampires

The first hour was kinda iffy, which is okay cause they're trying to set everything up.
The second hour rocked. Though Anytime Granny(Mrs.Petrilla) gets air time I'm happy. Finally we know that her power is to see the future. I loved her repeatedly telling Peter go back where he came from in her annoyed tone. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

I think that last night was a good starting point for the new season. They didn't go there on purpose to keep people watching.
*Possible spoiler* Peter in the future is hotter than Peter in the now. The cholo that has Peter Petrelli's soul? Is hot!!!!! I wanna do Veronica Mars....or whatever her name is on this show! Hot, mean, and powerful, exactly like I like my women. Heehee! MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! Was definitely better than the shitshow of last season. I mean, it's still full of stupid plot lines and inconsistent character writing (ie, Mohinder suddenly deciding it makes sense to go all lizard-man), but at least it feels like they're realizing they're not so good with the character stuff so they might as well makes sure the plot moves along at a nice clip. Matt's Visionquest in the dessert is stupid though--way too Buffy Season 7.

There aren't the same commercials online as when it broadcasts. There are the same ad breaks, but they are usually no more than 30 seconds, if that, and from only 1 advertiser per break. |

They took too long to get to the plot and then the writer's strike messed it all up. It was still fun, just didn't live up to the first season, but I don't think that was entirely their fault. It's looking to be GOOD this time around. Yeah season 2 was not that bad as some people make it out to be. Hiro stayed in Japan waaaaay tooooo looooong. Maybe 3 episodes would have been alright.

Way too many stupid plot lines. I got tired of trying to keep up. About the only thing that piqued my interest is when the old broad told Syler she was his mother. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I finally watched the premiere this weekend.
Well, the show certainly can't be accused of not moving fast enough this season. It almost felt like too much was happening. Can the show possibly keep up this pace for 25 episodes? The whole Fight Club-type delusions with Nathan is interesting, but I thought his turning to religion was way too fast. I don't like the idea of the normal characters getting powers like Mohinder and Ando--especially Mohinder. That part made me groan. I hope it's only temporary. And as far as I'm concerned, Claire was RAPED by Sylar. He violated her, took what he wanted from her body and left her numb. RAPE. The preview special was dumb.

The preview special ruined some of Episode 1 for me. It was very self indulgent. The fans didn't even look like fans. They looked like extras. The show is still moving at a quick pace. The Magneto guy got killed after two episodes already. But Parkman had better get out of that desert fast before that subpolt turns into another Hiro in feudal Japan snoozer.
Two things I didn't understand about last night's episode: Why in the world is Sylar working with the company? Are his mommy issues so deep that he'll do anything Mama Petrelli says because she told him he's her son? When Claire's mom was using up all the oxygen in the storage container with her flame and making Claire suffocate, shouldn't she have been suffocating too? Doesn't she need to breathe as well? Or was Claire just panicking/hyperventilating?
