I don't know if you'll recognize most of these comedians
Dave Chappelle-You know he was funny as hell Arnez J-I would have to say this is the funniest comedian I have ever seen. This fool had been crying!! I'm laughing right now just thinking about it. Tony Rock-very talented. I knew he was funny, but he's got quality just like his brother Chris. He's going places, or at least he better be. Eddie Griffin-not quite what I expected, but still pretty funny Kevin Hart-hilarious Michael Blackson-his name is funny alone Jeff Dunham-This man it just an artist. Ventriloquism is difficult enough without having to be really funny. He does it with no problem. I think there is one more, but I can't remember. I've seen most of these ppl just in the last two years. I graduated bitches!!! 12-19-09

Billy Connolly
Eddie Izzard Dara O'Brien Tommy Tiernan Des Bishop Deirdre O'Kane Ed Byrne Jason Byrne Marcus Brigstock Jo Brand Loads of people at the Comedy Cellar in Dublin including - Ardal O'Hanlon, Barry Murphy and Kevin Gildea (Mr. Trellis), Alex Lyons, Paul Tylak, Dermot Carmody, various other comedians that never made it much further than the Comedy Cellar. I've always thought it a bit odd (and unfair) that some of those guys never really made it - particularly Dermot Carmody, he was one of the founders (along with the Mr. Trellis guys and a few others) of the Comedy Cellar, and he had loads of really good material. He used to do a really funny Prince routine. Oh well. I'm sure I've seen more - I've been to quite a few stand-up shows, but memory fails me. A dishonourable mention for Jon Kenny (of d'unfunny d'Unbelievables) - who I saw by accident, in New York of all places, in 1986. Of all the bars in all the cities in all the world... His routine was memorable - and not in a good way. For some reason it included spitting at the audience (and he wasn't even being heckled). Prick. Lastly, and definitely leastly, Denis Leary - who was shit, and a joke thief, and I want my money back, and I don't know why I even bothered mentioning him because he's not a comedian, never was. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

other than some second city and upright citizens brigade shows, i think the only live comedy i've seen has been sandra bernhard. i've seen her perform live twice.

Ex-Moderator | I've seen Margaret Cho twice. I probably wouldn't go again.
I'm not so much a fan of the stand up comedy thing. One of my coworkers from the coffee shop does stand-up. I plan to go to one of his shows sometime, cause he's a cool guy and I bet he's funny. |

Havent you seen any male comedians? I don't think I have. I was a fan of Eddie Murphy back in the day. And there are a few comics that I saw on THE KIM'S OF COMEDY that I'd like to see. I've seen various up-and-coming types. The only big name comedian I've seen live is Paul Mooney. He was hilarious, but I felt downright guilty later for laughing at most of his stuff. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
