Should breast reductions be illegal?

I wonder what would jesus have to say about all this body altering?

besides, i like big boobs. It should be a criminal offence to make boobs smaller.

Mandatory enlargements for all small-boobed gals!

Breast size on a woman does NOT make a difference at all. I personally see the beauty of a woman in their eyes, and not by how big their chest is. And I'd much rather have a woman who's personality I enjoy and not go for the biggest titted woman in the joint.

I seriously hope you're joking... if body altering is wrong, then breast enlargement should be illegal as well, right?

Just because you like big boobs doesn't mean that everyone else does. Personally, I've never understood most other men's fixation on "T" and "A"... for me, a girl just has to have pretty face and a small waist. Look at Audrey Hepburn... she had no chest to speak of, and she was one of the most beautiful girls in the world!

End.

of course i'm not serious.Breast enlargements are for the most part crap, especially when the woman goes overboard.

In general i find plastic surgery interesting. Why people choose it for vanity reasons being the most interesting aspect.

I agree with you entirely. I wonder though, if she was an upcoming star today, whether she would probably have had some kind of surgery. It seems that Film/TV execs. only allow a certain kind of body shape to be "allowed".
BTW - I think most women who have reductions do so for medical reasons. Anyway, those huge saggy titties that women want reducing, are not what I'd call alluring...

Most wemon get breast reductions because of strain on your back and shoulders and neck. I think if it will make you feel better on the inside and out then do whatever it takes to make you happy and feel good about you!

Also, do you know how invasive that surgery is? They have to cut the nipples off to take the fat out of the breasts and then sew the nipples back on. It's horrible. There's even a chance that the nipples can die and fall off. A friend of mine had it done and thank God she's ok.

being blessed up front myself, i have considered this surgery many times. each time, the men in my life always begged me not to.

not only are they heavy and put a strain on my back and shoulders at times, forget about even finding a pretty bra in my size.

eventually, i may have it done. i was told that i may not be able to breast feed if i have a baby when i have the surgery done. and that was one reason why i didn't do it yet. i may wait until i have some baby sparxxx before i have it done.

During breast reduction the nipple is moved into new position and excess skin and tissue are removed. The blood supply to the nipple is retained on a pedicle of tissue.

A serious complication after breast reduction is loss of the blood supply to the nipple. This can happen for many reasons. If the nipple is moved a large distance the pedicle may not carry enough blood and in older patients, or those with diabetes, the blood supply is poor to begin with.

In the hours after surgery the blood supply of the nipple is checked regularly and if it appears darker then surgery may be needed to help restore the blood supply. It has been shown that when the blood supply of the nipple only comes through the pedicle there is often an actual increase in the flow of blood which may continue for several days.

The first thing that is done is to release the stitches around the nipple. This helps to prevent kinks in the veins and arteries of the nipple. If this does not work and the blood supply gets worse the surgeon may decide to re-open the breast. The surgeon can check that the pedicle carrying the blood supply to the nipple is not kinked.

Sometimes during surgery it is obvious that the blood supply to the nipple is poor and in these cases the surgeon may change from a pedicle type operation to a free nipple graft.

Assessment of blood supply to the nipple is usually not difficult However in some cases, especially in those with darkly pigmented areolas, it is hard to assess the blood supply. In these cases surgeons sometimes recommend other methods such as fluorescein or Doppler flowmetry to check the blood supply.

If the nipple blood supply is seriously damaged, all or part of the nipple may die. Reconstruction of the nipple is then needed.

If this thread WAS serious, then I agree with Rhondab; usually they are reduced for health reasons, because of back strain leading to weak and curved spines.

I think Jesus would be pleased that so person is happier in life and surgeons can perform such operations these days.

take it from a women who has had it done...
it hurts like hell...couldn't move for almost 2weeks after surgery, had to have someone take care of my son for me but it was still the best thing i ever did FOR MYSELF ...i went from a seriously overflowing DD cup to a perfectly wonderful C cup...my back was hurting all the time, i had massive dents in my shoulders from bra straps, i was getting migranes and i hated the way i looked...so...it took me 3 years to finally do it but it was 3 years in september since the surgery and i have never been happier with a decision in my life. i have awesome tits!!! they look great, i have NO problems physically or trying to find a bra that fits and instead of trying to hide them i now strut my stuff!!! no regrets...

oh and ps...in case you are wondering...my nipples are fine!!! wink

Last month at an appointment I saw this young girl with huge breasts. Bigger than my head, I got a big head mind you. smile I know it must be unconfortable for her.
My baby daddys ex-girlfriend breasts are so big they used to rest on his arm when driving 5speed.

Are'nt there programs that pay to help these women out?
A reduction would have to be for medical conditions & not cosmestic.

I'm in need of donations!!
I want bigger boobs! wink
