Favorite part about Autumn? the clothes are so much better.
Worst part about Autumn? the weather Music you listen to in autumn? "Bitter" by Meshell Ndegeocello, "Deserter's Songs" by Mercury Rev, "Painted From Memory" by Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach... among others. but those are the big ones. What does Autumn remind you of? umm.... cornstalks. though it would be easier to answer "what reminds you of autumn?" Like Halloween? yeah, it's fun i suppose. handed out candy with my bf the last couple, but other than that, i don't really get into it anymore. If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? i'd never hand-harvest corn again. Fall TV line-up Pros and Cons pros: fresh, new shows and episodes of favorites. cons: having to remember to tune in. and a lot of good new shows don't get a chance and get the ax early. How do you decorate your house? i don't. Like Thanksgiving? yes, it's nice. but just like every other holiday. all the family together. Music you listen to in autumn? Lots of downtempo stuff What does Autumn remind you of? Singing the "Jack-o-lantern" song and walking home from school surrounded by beautiful foliage in Kindergarten and first grade; Jewish neighbors building their Sukkahs for the Festival of Booths Like Halloween? I like that it is an event facilitating interaction with neighbors and children having safe fun. If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? I'd make it last longer Fall TV line-up Pros and Cons I don't really watch much TV besides America's/Canada's Next Top Model. How do you decorate your house? I don't generally. Like Thanksgiving? I like it,cause I get to see my nephews get dressed up,and have fun. Other than that don't really get into it. The word reminds me of that girl on Big Brother 2 who ate the chips. Like Halloween? NO!!! If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? That it would be summer. Favorite part about Autumn? The cool days/nights and the change in colors. Kids are in school and safe and on schedules. Worst part about Autumn? Wet rainy leaves to pick up. Music you listen to in autumn? Any --actually the summer before Prince gigs for memories. What does Autumn remind you of? uh, Autumn Like Halloween? I love it. I turn into a big kid and have to scare my kids and wife all week. I will dress up to takes the kids around that night and talk to the neighbors. LOVE, LOVE IT! Hope we go to a family party this year. If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? Nothing, it's the best season. Fall TV line-up Pros and Cons? Um nothing speacial..whatevers on. How do you decorate your house? Fallish until October then its all decked out in goblins and ghouls. I bought a 25ft devil clown to drape off my the top of the house last year and put a spot light on it and everyone would stop and stare at it. Alot of people by me love to decorate their house everyone season. Like Thanksgiving? Yes, it's nice and the family food is great. Gobble gobble. When winter comes do you miss Autumn? Favorite part about Autumn? Young people returning to school and the mood related to it, shades of leaves and kids playing with chestnuts... there's something poetic about all of these...
Worst part about Autumn? One long year ahead until next summer... 
Music you listen to in autumn? Same as the rest of the year, but I think David Sylvian is accurate to this time of the year. What does Autumn remind you of? Childhood, memories, autumn is death of vegetable kingdom, it's all about melancholy. Like Halloween? Favorite part about Autumn? The colors, the smell of the air. The contradiction in how still it can be, save for the rustle of slowly falling leaves. (I love that!!!) And, how windy it can be, other times.
Worst part about Autumn? the allergens, like mold. Music you listen to in autumn? Pretty much whatever I listen to throughout the year. What does Autumn remind you of? I dunno. I'm probably my most romantic/sappy/foolish, this time of year. So, probably, past relationships. Like Halloween? No. It's of the debbil. If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? Favorite part about Autumn? The crispness, the orangeness, the smell of burning leaves, the deep amber feel of the sun as it begins to fade into winter dimness.
Worst part about Autumn? Sigh...the mornings start to get darker. I hate dark mornings. Music you listen to in autumn? I don't know that I have autumn music. I guess just leftovers of what I was listening to in summer that I'm not tired of yet. What does Autumn remind you of? Thinking about slowing down, coccooning, collecting acorns before the snow falls. Giving thought to what indoor projects I'd like to tackle over the winter months. Finishing up whatever I can still do while it's nice enough to run around without a ton of coats and boots and scarves all over me. Like Halloween? Yeah. I won't be able to celebrate it this year cuz I have a wedding out of town that weekend. Maybe we can hit up a haunted house or something. I'll be in Memphis. Does Graceland do a haunted house for Halloween? How would they make it different? If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? I'd plug more juice into the sun in the morning. Maybe make it darker even earlier at night if we could just have more morning hours. Setting the clock back just doesn't get the job done. Fall TV line-up Pros and Cons I want to like Fringe, but I don't think it's a very likeable show, even if the lead actress reminds me of the lead singer of one of my favorite bands. I'm happy to catch up with Heroes and Lost. The only way I'll come back to watching 24 again is if the season premiere starts with Prince and David Bowie doing a duet of "Groove is in the Heart", live and in 3D. That show didn't just jump the shark last year, it killed the damn fish and BECAME the shark. I'm over it! How do you decorate your house? Since we'll be out of town for Halloween, I'm not sure if we will be decorating the house. Maybe tack some dry-ass corn to the door or something, I don't know. Like Thanksgiving? Favorite part about Autumn? The colours, atmosphere... walking through crispy leaves... bright sunny days and perfect cool temperatures... dark night... wearing snuggly jumpers... I LOVE Autumn.
Worst part about Autumn? The rain, maybe... Music you listen to in autumn? It doesn't change radically, like, overnight but it tends to become more sensual, engaging, cerebral. If that doesn't sound, pompous. 
For example, I tend to associate 'Parade' with Spring/Summer. I crank out The B-52's in the Summer. Autumn is the perfect time for artists like Kate Bush. What does Autumn remind you of? Being a kid, going back to school, Harvest festivals, my birthday... just feeling all snuggly, really.  
Like Halloween? It's never been as big a deal over here as in the States... I was quite shocked when I read, here, how much effort people put into it! I guess it's cool... been a looooong time since I did anything for it, though. If you could change anything about Autumn, what would it be? Can't think of anything.
