Name some actors who tend to "overract"...lol!

Even though the man is a brilliant actor, and really doesn't get all the props he deserves, Clarence Williams, III does tend to overract quite a lot in his movies...here's an example:

ahh yes, the shit...

falloff falloff

I think Joan Collins overracts....Faye Dunaway did an overjob in "Mommie Dearest".....that's all I can think of at the top of my head....
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

While I find the whole notion of acting kinda silly, these two in particular are just ridiculous:

    Gary Oldman
    Al Pacino

I've had more laughs watching these guys in drama than I've had from many of my favorite comedies.

THANK GOD Im not the only person who's found some of Pacino's roles a bit toasty.
Same with Diniro lol

Honestly, I'm not saying they're not good.. But Denzel Washington is better than either if you ask me... even in his youth.

There's a special out there (PBS?) that features Pacino reading from Death of a Salesman. The fact that he thinks his ridiculously overwrought performance in any way resembles natural human behavior is just stunning.

I know exactly what you mean:

Gary Oldman in "The Professional": EVVVEEERRRRYYYYOOONNNNEEEEE OUT!!!!

Al Pacino in "Heat": Because she's got a GREAT ASS!!! AND YOU'RE HEAD IS ALL THE WAY UP IN IT!!!!

falloff falloff

I also love how when De Niro puts emphasis on "Motherfucker"....he says it with such power, like he really means it when he says it.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Clarence Williams III is awesome in Half Baked.

Shatner, but in a good way.

I was watching Sister Act the other day and kept wondering "Why in the hell is Whoopi overacting like this?" Then a few hours later, Ghost came on and there she was, at it again. "Molly. . . you in dainja, gurl." rolleyes She hasn't done anything nearing her nuanced performance in The Color Purple.

I think a lot of comedians overact a lot. Will Farrel and Owen Wilson are good examples of that. They make something thats meant to be funny not be funny...which I don't know how its possible

The artist formerly known as Sam Jackson. Samuel L. Jackson.

I think Prince underacts, but he knows how to sell a slap!

Or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. nod

Carrey's better in more serious movies than when he does straight comedy.
