Where's the best place you have eaten?

Just wondering...For me it has to be when I was in San Fransisco, my partner and I went to a club called Asia SF, what a brilliant night, the entertainment was fab and the food was the best ever, all in all a night to remember. biggrin biggrin biggrin

The best meal I've ever had in a restaurant was at a Mediterranean place in Waikiki called "Marbella" with my boyfriend in 2005. On an expense account. lol

I don't even remember what I ate, but it was incredible.

PS: I'm anticipating that based on the subject line, this thread will devolve into the usual org tomfoolery any minute.

When I used to live in Paris, there was this small restaurant owned by Dimitri, who had an open kitchen next to the tables, so he would talk to you while cooking.
There wasn't a menu; you had to eat what he cooked. Dimitri always made great food; always stuff I had never heard of.
I went there, the first time I returned to Paris after returning to Amsterdam, but his place was gone. bawl

While in San Fran we went to Top of the Mark and had a drink, would have like to have eaten there but we were off somewhere else that night and never got the chance again, the views looking over the Golden Gate Bridge while the sun set was pretty outstanding. biggrin
