I just went to the chemist this morning and there was a bargain bucket by the counter. I picked up two body creams, but after buying them and putting them on the shelf at home, I know I am not gonna use them.. prolly forget about them until they have gone off..

Why does this happen? Do you buy more toiletries than you actually need or use?

One time when Boots was selling out of that serum we were selling that shit from here in Thailand because they had loads of it. With every 15 GBP equiv. we spent we were getting all this free shit. It really peeved me that I couldn't use it all before it went off. Some of it's still there in the fridge (yeah, we keep it in the fridge, whut??) and is probably past its date.

Yeah, we were house-sitting for a friend and it was around the time of my Mum's birthday and she mentioned she'd like some. We went and got it, it was about 12 GBP and they had plenty, and it was only by chance when I saw something on the net I found out about the mad craze in the UK. For the next week we got hold of all the money we could gather and bought hundreds of them from every store in Bangkok and sold them on my friend's eBay account for about 25GBP a pop. I have to say that is one of the most fun things I've ever done, walking into Boots and dropping three or four hundreds pounds and just seeing the looks on peoples' faces. Good times.

I always buy more than I need, like when things are BOGOF (buy one get one free) I have my own little stores of toiletries because I just hate it when I run out. Send all your unwanted toiletries to me I'll use them, as long as they're not centuries old as their smell starts to go off!
