Time Warner If you don't have to deal with Time Warner for your TV/internet/phone service, thank your lucky stars and be grateful!
If you do have Time Warner for your TV/internet/phone service, then I know how aggravating that dealing with them can be. I just had a VERY bad experience with them; so bad that I wanted to change cable companies. The only thing that stopped me was that Time Warner is the primary cable company in the area I live in. I called another company that my parents deal with for their internet/cable service, and was told that they do not provide service to the area I live in. So I'm stuck with Time Warner and I don't seem to have much choice in the matter, unfortunately. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Oh girl I know what u're going through.
I had cable and internet with them. I cancelled the internet because it was always going out. I'll be moving in 4 months and I will cancel the cable. That will shock the neighbor because she's stealing my cable The customer service is horrible and the services are always down. "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

I have to unplug the cable modem, turn my computer off, then wait a few minutes, plug the cable modem back in, then turn my computer back on again. The customer service definitely is horrible! I called Time Warner I don't know how many times this evening. I spent at least 2 hours (no exaggeration) trying to get a hold of someone to tell them that the cable technician never showed up. Every time I was put on hold, I would get the recording. As soon as the recording got to a certain point, the phone line would go dead each and every time! I finally got a hold of someone and told them, "Don't put me on hold, because every time I'm put on hold, the phone line goes dead, and I have to call again." The good thing that came out of this is that the cable technician FINALLY showed up (2 hours LATE from the time slot that I was given, after I left work an hourly early to come home to wait for him). I told him how I felt about the situation, and the woman who I was talking to on the phone when he arrived (who had me on hold), told me that they would give me a $20.00 credit off my next bill. They should, because I give Time Warner enough money each and every month for their services. They suck, and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Is satellite TV an option for you, Nancy? Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Unfortunately not, since the place I live at does not allow it. Otherwise, I definitely would get it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

We were fine with Time Warner until Comcast bought them out..ever since it has sucked....
Comcast keeps trying to kiss butt to see if we are happy, and my hub tells em as soon as there is an option, we will take our business elsewhere.

Has anyone ever had to deal with Cox? They're horrible.
I don't understand why cable companies are allowed to run monopolies in the U.S.

I don't understand why cable companies are allowed to run monopolies in the U.S. My parents have Cox, and I've never heard them have the complaints that I have had with Time Warner. I don't think Cox can be any worse then Time Warner, truth be told. Time Warner is pretty bad. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I'm stuck with the local phone company for phone, cable and internet. They're not too bad, but they're raping everyone in this town on the rates for internet speeds. 512k speed for roughly $40 when 15 miles away people are getting three times the speed for about the same price. I guess that's one bad thing about living in a smaller town. Almost EVERYTHING is more expensive there.
