I guess it's only once a year here, but I swear it happens more often. A bunch of zombies get together and take over parts of Minneapolis, merrily drinking along the way. I ran into a handful of them last night.

It's sunny, cheery, Florida here. We're not terribly fond of zombies or vampires, etc. We do some wierd ass 'pirate' invasion here though, and in all honesty, the city is over-run with people dressed like Prince circa 'Rave un2 the year 2000' in that gay ass pirate outfit he wore on stage. It's kind of funny.

so we have something kinda like it called "Ashtoberfest Zombiewalk"

We don't do it here in Ireland. It'd be a bit too close to the reality of any other weekend night - people walking from bar to bar in a semi-comatose state.

Actually it's surprising that the whole halloween thing is so big in other countries and not here so much, seeing as it's basically Irish - an ancient pagan celtic festival called 'Samhain'.
