If they're MILFs or GILFs, then yes, by definition they do turn me on.

God yes, I think most women look better as they get older

Don't like it when some 23 year old is described as Milf, or 30 as Gilf

By definition, the term implies the person applying the label would be turned on.

I don't get offended by much but the idea that a woman having a child and being attractive is some kind of oddity really pisses me off.

Its not that its so much of an oddity....but admittedly, there are quite a few women who've had children who let themselves go.....badly.....and before I get pilloried, I know that there are plenty of fathers who aren't fitness models...and I've heard women dog them too....

I think that your point of view makes more sense as we get older, but it's mostly stupid young men who use the term.

At 20 I wasn't dating women who had children, but at 36 I might. When you're in college, you don't see very many hot women with kids, so it actually IS something of an oddity. But now, seems like every woman I know has kids.

I find it a weird thing, I know I'm a little bit sensitive about it. There is an attitude that there is something gross about pregnancy and childbirth and that it somehow taints a woman, or that she is never the same again afterwards, or that she can still be "hot" DESPITE it, never BECAUSE of it. confused

Moms aren't supposed to be sexy. Once you're a mom, that's it. It's the madonna/whore thing.

Not to say I agree with it, but it's the prevalent attitude.

I see your point, certainly. And where I live I see gorgeous moms every day. Oh, I live on the org, by the way wink

I think if you realize it's a term used by kids it makes more sense. We are surrounded by girls, and the women with kids are our moms and our moms' friends. So a mom is not really part of our realm of possibility.

There's a shift of priorities. Moms (good ones at least) are much more focused on bringing their kids up right and creating a proper environment for them than they are in being sexy for the rest of world. They might portray a more conservative appearance. That's still sexy, but (to beat my point to the ground) young men respond to the more obvious forms of sexy that moms are less likely to project.

I also think that the term is losing its meaning. Everyone is maintaining a youthful & attractive appearance much later in life, after marriage, after kids.

OK nod yeah I can see that

how about the term "yummy mummies" used by everyone, which basically implies if you aren't keeping up with your maintenance (of your looks) you aren't yummy. (I don't put on lipstick to drop my kid off at kindy!) It also implies the "hot" DESPITE being a mum, since otherwise why even mention it?
