It's not something I've had to do often. Last time, a female student kept bugging me about taking her to lunch after class (in between taking calls from her boyfriend) and I just tried to keep things light-hearted, not take it seriously, and not let her get me in a room alone with her. She'd show up to class looking like she was about to hit the clubs in Patpong and was totally predatory (not to mention a little older).

Otherwise I just say I'm married but friendship would be cool if they'd like.
