Who is the Inventor of the italicized explantion of post edits?

Stand Ye I beseech You..

which orger was the first to do this? hmmm whoever did...i'm noticing it's worked its way in my org habits as well as the habits of other orgers

whoever was the first to do so deserves recognition and should prob give a speech or some shit. clapping

see below for an example

ex: it is here where one explains the purpose of their edit...i assume this is done so as to assure the reader that 90% of the post was originally meant, and not an afterthought

I don't know who the first person was hmmm. It's not always italicized, but I usually leave an explanation for my edits disbelief lol

I first remember explaining my edits in 2004, and someone else gave me the idea.

I think it may have been Byron. At least I vaguely remember him posting something about thinking he may have been the first person to do it.

lol...Yeah, I do think I did it first, or at least was one of the first nod...it was like a week after we went from the old Purple & Black site to this one, and I got tired of seeing the huge edit statements. So after making yet another correction to yet another post, I typed "So I fucked up...sue me." a few lines below my post, knowing it would appear above the bold edit statement. About a month later half the Org was doing it lol...

It's my Org legacy touched...

kinda like this mad...
