Minneapolis Peeps - Need Catering Advice

I am trying to put together a luncheon for a business event and am looking for a good caterer that will deliver. I have menus for Deli type of stuff, but I am looking for something a little more substantial.

I am looking for a place that is similar to a company I use here in SF. This place is amazing. They have a monthly special which includes: Hot Entree (usually a chicken dish though I have seen a Pasta dish like Lasagne), A starch, Hot veggies, a salad and a cookie. They will come and put the tables together and make it look really nice...All for about 12 per person.

Now I know that that is pretty inexpensive and I have a decent budget and can afford over that.

Any suggestions would be welcome. They need to be able to Deliver to Minneapolis.

Thanks!!!

I've never used a caterer... if you find some places and want to know if the food is yummy, I can tell you if I recognize the restaurant or whatever, but I wouldn't have any idea for the rest of it.
Sorry.

They are very yummy. I don't know how pricey, though.

Thanks. I think I know this place. I'll take a look again at their menu. They are very "deli-ish" but very delish. giggle

lol

They are, but I think you could get them to do something else too. The menu on the website is uber-fancy, but I know I've had a simple spaghetti dinner from them that was yummy. I think they're the kind of place where you could tell them what you're thinking and they can whip it up and quote you a price fairly quickly.

When I was in the Twin Cities I couldn´t really find a decent , old school American diner. The only place I saw ( but didn´t go to ) was some place on University Ave near Snelling in St.Paul, right before the highway to Chanhassen.
Aren´t there more diners in the Twin Cities ?

I don't really go to diners much, but I really enjoyed this place: http://www.towntalkdiner.com/

There's the classic Mickey's in St Paul: http://en.wikipedia.org/w...%27s_Diner

And I used to go here fairly frequently before they mvoed locations downtown: http://www.keyscafe.com/

Thank you so much, I will definitely check out those places the next time I´m there. ( I really miss the Twin Cities and the nice people there) .
That Mickey´s place is also on the cover of Alexander O´Neal´s first album.
