Casualties Of War v Redacted

Same director...same theme....different war.
I watched Redacted last night and I didnt enjoy it.
Casualties Of War was so much better on so many different levels...im not sure if Brian DePalma was trying to remake COW ( confused ) or if this was maybe his protest at the Iraqi war but it fails miserably.
And yet it has provoked me to try and innitiate a discussion about it..so maybe he has done his job!....anyone?
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Brian de Palma is a crap director.....he hasn't made anything good eversince The Untouchables in '87!
