wave I've been to Cornwall a few times. Mostly near Penzance and Marazion.
My family lived in the area for centuries, my Dad was born there. It feels like home to me even though I can't be there as much as I would like.

I've been to Manchester (twice), Birmingham, Sheffield and York.

And London several times.

I've been to the Glastonbury Festival twice, so wherever that is too (I can't remember redface ).

Yep. In June I was in Caterham, The Cotswalds, Oxford, and all over the countryside. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY.

I've been to the Midlands. Went to a wedding in Hinckley, then to a golf tournament at the Belfry. Returned to London through Oxford.

That part of the country looks a lot like Wisconsin. Or Wisconsin looks like the Midlands. Whatever. cool

Also, much preferred Wales to England. And my favorite folks overall aside from the obvious one mushy were the Scots.

I have been to Mildenhal and Weathersby which were both military installations, not sure if that counts but it was beautiful. Took the train to London and hung out with an old friend.

My grandmother, who married my American grandfather, is from there. Her maiden name was Butterworth but I see reference to "Wookie" in family documents. Not even sure which is the true last name lol

You sure could. There was a programme on here about that. People were investigating family trees as there were millions left but no living family. So anyway a big search was made to find relatives. AMAZING! I would look into it if I were you, its just so interesting. biggrin
