I don't like Ike - (Post About The Hurricane Here only)

And he's coming right up my street.

Houston's in much better shape this time, though. I still haven't left my house but traffic is no problem and there's plenty of gas.

Anyone else down here, please take care.

I join all Americans when I say:

Maybe this will be the hurricane that finally blows Geraldo Rivera out to sea.

I join all Houstonians when I say:

Maybe this will be the hurricane that finally blows Wayne Dolcefino out to sea.

If they ended up on the same desert island, that would be kismet.

I live in Houston and the news said we won't get the storm as bad but we will still get strong winds. The houston metro buses and rail just stopped running at 12:00 CT and a lot of places are closed.I hope the people in the surge are evacuating because its better to be safe than sorry.

Take care of you and yours, Rodeo. There are tons of people up here in Dallas from the Houston area. As far north as we are, they're predicting 70 MPH winds and tons of rain up here. sad
