I believe that if you tell yourself you don't care at all what anyone thinks of you, you're deluding yourself. That said, I probably care less than 99% of the population.

If it's someone I'm close to or care about, yes... if not, not so much

The people I love and respect--yes, definitely.

People in general--not particularly, except for general etiquette things and common conventions. I would care if someone thought I had bad table manners or was a loudmouthed drunk, stuff like that, but I don't care if they like my lifestyle or that kind of thing.

And for someone I'm interested in--oh, yeah.

I care what the people I care about think of me, but as for everyone else, no.

I use to, until I realized that in the end other people's opinions never matter.

People I don't know: Only what they think about me in terms of how I look.

People I know: I totally care about what they think of me.
