Where old pine needles go...

Check out these pictures.
These bears are made from Pine Needles!
A couple of hundred thousand of them in one large bear.
The pine needles were gathered off the ground, sorted, washed, trimmed and hand woven.
Over 8 months in making the life size bear.

i can't see the pics. just red x's.

but that reminds me of the pine tree we had in our yard when i was a kid. my favorite part of fall was always when the needles would fall and we would play in them. way played in them more than we did leaves, even, because you could make things out of them. tunnels, etc.

they were sticky as hell though.

Thanks, that's really a cool website.....as well as the bears,
I enjoyed some of his smaller art pieces in the buttons section,
as well as the miscellaneous. Actually I'm going to take a look
at the rest of the sections as well.
