Dig if U will these pictures...

THIS is what it sounds like.. when doves cry...

The pictures tell the suffering of a poor bird shocked with his mate's fatal injury

Here his mate is injured and the condition is very appalling

Here he brings her food and attend her with love and compassion

Brings her food but shocked with her death and try to move her

He is aware that his sweetheart is dead and will not come to him again. He cries with adoring love

Stands beside her and screams, saddened by her death

Finally aware that she would not return to him, stands beside her body with sadness and sorrow

Photos of two birds said to have pictured in the Republic of Ukraine where this bird is interested to quickly to save his mate. Millions of people cry after watching this picture in America and Europe.
It is said that the photographer sold these pictures for a nominal price to the most famous newspaper in France. And all the copies of that newspaper were sold out on the day of publishing these pictures

I agree. I mean, it's good that otherwise insensitive people will be exposed to the fact that animals suffer when those they love die (and there are people who believe that animals have no feelings), but in itself, it's a very sad and strange thread. shrug

I think it's actually quite touching... sad, really. People often forget that animals have feelings too. I hope when kids with BB guns see something like this that they think twice before they shoot at a "dumb bird" again.

at the calgary zoo we were told about how one of the female gorillas suffered a bad grand mal seizure and how the male gorilla sat by her side for three days. unfortunately for the female it meant the zookeepers could not get her medical attention as you don't enter the enclosure when the male is present.

he brought her food... ALL the food meant for all the gorillas. he wouldn't let anyone else have any of it. he himself went without food or water for the entire time. and when his own juvenile daughter came too close he picked her up and tossed her across the space. as the keeper was telling us the story i couldn't help but cry. eventually he relented that there was nothing he could do but by then it was too late.

That is something. sad
I wonder why they didn't tranquilize him so they could get medical attention to the female?
