115/75. I had problems with high blood pressure as a child, but it has been in the normal range throughout my teens and adult life. There are problems with high blood pressure on both sides of my family, so I make sure to keep my eye on it nod

So is mine

"Normal blood pressure is usually in the range of 120/80 (systolic/diastolic). In healthy people, especially athletes, low blood pressure is a sign of good cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel) health. But low blood pressure can be a sign of an underlying problem -- especially in the elderly -- where it may cause inadequate blood flow to the heart, brain, and other vital organs." (www.webmd.com)

To sum up it proves there's still "leftovers" from more than 20 years of sport and healthy life. Never been specifically on meds for this but doctors always recommends a lot of rest (which is frustrating) and iron therapy.

Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity

That´s excellent.....maybe even a bit too low ?
Mine is constantly changing but most of the time it is a tad too high, depending on stress levels, rest and exercise. And nutrition.

Doctors LOVE to prescribe medicine (there´s nothing better than a regular patient who really needs his meds every day) and though medicine is a good thing, I rather try other ways to reduce it.

That is very high. You better do something about it.Meds are okay but they should not be the only solution.

You know, some ambulance drivers immediately put a tube in your veins to release a bit of pressure when your blood pressure is THAT HIGH. 200 over 150 is almost deadly. How could she even stay on her feet with her blood pressure being that high?
