What do you do with your photographs?

This is NOT an invitation to revisit the debate on the artistic virtues of scrapbooking.

Do you frame your photographs and hang them on the wall?

Put them in albums?

Keep them on your camera?

Throw them in a box?

I am currently going through 20 + years of photographs. I must say I LOVE digital cameras as I think back to film cameras and the rolls of films I never developed that are now lost.

I went out and bought several photo collage frames and it is a BITCH trying to decide which pictures to put in them.

I have so many beautiful pictures that I haven't looked at in YEARS. It's been a bittersweet process.

Family photos taken with a standard camera are all in photo albums...

Family photos taken with a digital camera are all on an external hard drive...I rarely print those up. I might buy a digital frame and have a "slide show" display of some selected photos (if I see a digital photo frame that looks stylish)...

The more artistic digital photos I print up and frame (some of them) or turn into note cards...

I LOVE digital photo frames!!

I'm sure I'll be getting at least one of those soon.

At first I thought they were a toy...a gadget...and they are, but GOOD LORD you can do SO MANY cool things with them.

Hell, you can set up a slide show w/ MUSIC on them now!!!!

They are an AWESOME way to show your photos!!!

I put them on my computer after the event I was at. Then I upload the good ones to Flickr. I'll scrapbook the ones I have printed. Some I put in individual frames and others I'll put in big frames with multiple picture slots. I also try to print off extras to give to other people. Sometimes it takes me a while to get them scrapbooked so I'll keep pictures in storage cases until I'm ready for them.

I frame tons of pics, because I like having them around. I also have some in albums which I would love to restart and make scrapbooks for each of my kids. I have some stored in boxes and on my hard drive, and on cds.

i love my digital but confess i haven't had hardly any printed up since i got it. i used to be so good about putting photos directly into albums and then i went through a phase in life where i really didn't care. so there are a couple photo boxes just full eek and this old computer can't store much digitally. i freaked out when the usb stick i put stuff on came apart. i. will. die. if i can't retrieve the past few years worth of digital photos. neutral i got a digital frame for my father. the trick is to keep updating his usb stick with our photos. (i'm a bit behind there. like about a year. neutral )

batting eyes joy you should post a picture of your frame once it's done.

I never take pictures.

Like, ever. lol

The photos I have now are all in envelopes and bags and packed in a plastic tote. I never pull them out and look at them.

And I have no digital photos, really. Other than what other people have posted of me here and on facebook, myspace, etc. And even those, I don't bother to keep myself.

I have TONS of pictures. They're all in boxes and photo albums. I'm about 1/3 into scanning all my pictures on to disc. I don't think I'll ever finish.

I have framed some of my fave pics; friends, travel.

It isn't, but that's because I haven't printed many pics.
