How do you sleep? Go in to as much or as little detail as you'd like.

I like the room to be slightly cold when I sleep. I sleep under heavy covers all year round. In fact, I have trouble sleeping when it's hot or under light covers.

I have to sleep lying down...which sounds stupid, but what that means is I cannot sleep on airplanes or road trips.

I snore...yeah I said it...when I'm exhausted or sick.

In true gemini fashion, I am both a light and heavy sleeper...depending on level of exhaustion, wellness or situation with my children, ie...are they sick?

I have a tv in my room...only because my hubby likes it.

I don't keep music on to sleep

I sleep on a small section of the bed because my hubby is a bed hog.

TMI I'm sure...

How I usually sleep is pretty uninteresting, so I'll offer my ideal sleeping arrangement...

Bed sitting high off the floor; medium-soft mattress; crisp, white linen sheets (no flannel, no satin, no color); at least 5 pillows; heavy blanket; plush comforter... and I wouldn't mind a slight smell of bleach, lavender or rose water in the bedding. The room should be pitch black and slightly cold. Window preferably open for a bit of a breeze (no matter the season). I prefer perfect silence in the room, with the rare exception of a jazz or classical station on, but nearly inaudible; I enjoy light sounds from outside the window -- rain, chimes, crickets, a distant train, etc. Absolutely no TV. My cat can sleep on the bed near our feet, but if he starts chasing my feet under the covers or comes up near my head, his butt is out.

Lastly, I need my inhaler and some drink next to the bed... and I really like there to be some sort of towering floor plant or tree in the room.

I'll sleep like a brick in this environment.

lol thats what I'm sayin! I don't care how cute your furry ass is...respect my slumber lol

I stayed at a friends house this summer and I woke up in the middle of the night burning up hot...I thought somebody threw a blanket over me, but when I reached back it was one of the family cats sprawled out across my back

....needless to say, I had to relocate her

In the nude.

Only turn on my A/C if it's really hot out (my building's well air-conditioned).

Duvet + an awesome pillow. Used to do black, satin sheets, but in storage now.

Find it hard to get to sleep w/out being on my stomach, with an arm under my pillow.

Don't wake easily. Find the sounds of the city soothing (except for when drunken yahoos shout in the street when the clubs let out, but I'm usually asleep by that time).

Cannot fall asleep without TV or radio. Watch/listen on my laptop (radio's usually Howard Stern).

Toss and turn during the night. Lately, have gotten into the bad habit of rubbing my eyes in my sleep.

Set two alarms (on my cell) - delicate, music-box-type sound - half-an-hour apart. First one is a warning alarm.

Lying in bed right now, on my stomach, with a pillow under my chin, typing this on my laptop, with the VMAs streaming, via my Slingbox, in a corner of the screen. smile

In light pj's in the summer, warmer ones during the winter
Bed set on 35(I have a Sleep Number Mattress)
Have to have the fan on,and blowing directly on me
I sleep on my back
I usually start out with no covers cause it's to hot,but sometime during the night I pull them on me.
I have four pillows two for me,and the other two my puppy uses. smile
I am a sound sleeper,once I am out,that's it.
I don't need it pitch black,I usually have a night light so I don't kill myself if I need to use the restroom.

You better see right through that mother's eyes
Those freaks was right when they said you was dead
The one mistake you made was in your head
Ah, how do you sleep?
Ah, how do you sleep at night?

Jump when your momma tell you anything
The only thing you done was yesterday
And since you're gone you're just another day
Ah, how do you sleep?

With the window open so I can hear the creek or the rain, feel the cool air and see the trees and the mountain and the moon and stars. mushy
The blankets are pretty much off and on all night.
Pillows are a must.
Sometimes I sleep like a rock and sometimes not so much.

I'm not a big fan of sleeping, there's so much else to do.

I sleep fitfully since my childhood, dunno why but can't help tossing and turning. It's not rare when my fiancé tells me in the morning "Oh btw you punched me in stomach last night", then the day after "Did u know u kicked my butt?" and so on... lol

Usually on my side or stomach. I turn the pillow over n' over in search of the cooler side, which is one of the finer things in life. A movie or music dvd is always on during the night, I can't sleep unless there is background noise.

Since childhood I've had a lot of trouble getting to sleep... I tend to toss and turn a LOT before I'm eventually exhausted enough. it can be very annoying for anyone in the room unfortunately redface once I'm asleep, though, I'm alright until morning. Usually it's on my back and then at the very last minute I'll move onto a side and I'll usually wake up on my back again

The worst is one of mates who has night terrors; it really is one of the most eerie, frightening things I have ever heard. shake He wakes up in the middle of the night making the most terrifying sounds. It's horrible - and I feel really sorry for him. sad

I usually sleep on one side, to the left - but roll over during the night. I don't know how people get to sleep on their stomach?! eek It's gotta be quite cool in the room and I do that one foot out of the duvet thing lol - unless it's freezing, that is. Oh, and I usually have one arm curled under a pillow. No more to say. lol
