For myself I don't see the point in "leaving" it's a free account and I don't have to log in ... I don't think   
... but to enter the spirit I don't think I would leave a message except to the ones I know

I've left and come back a few times - I see no point in making a bit deal about it or being all dramatic and deleting my account.

I found deleting the accounts helped cause if you cant post something, it gets rid of a major point of coming to the site--engaging in dialogue. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that... but sometimes, I actually need to get work done , and this place can be as distracting as a REALLY good season on network television.
I don't delete my account anymore when I take small breaks cause the last time that happenned, someone was nice enough to create a dormant 'imago account (the one I'm currently using), but Danny got ahold of it and started posting using the account when her own account ran out of posts. That was a hot mess

I've never had to delete my account...it's just as easy to create a new one, so deleting to avoid coming here is sort of a moot point. | |
