MP3 question for the geeksquad... What is the best way to load what I have on itunes onto a mp3 player which is not an ipod? Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

You have to convert the mp4 files back to mp3s. The Normal Whores Club

You'll probably need to download a converter program since I'm guessing you don't have one; Easy CD-DA Extractor has a free trial available here.
Good luck! [Edited 9/6/08 15:48pm] The Normal Whores Club

It depends. First are your music files ripped from CD's or iTunes bought? If they are ripped, you're probably good. All you need to do is connect your non iPod device to your comuter (prolly via USB) and navigate to the folder your iTunes rips music to and drag the files over to the device. Normally music is located under My Documments>>iTunes>> navigate to whatever artist you want. That is if you use iTunes to rip your music.
If you purchased music from iTunes you will need to convert those to MP3, which is why I am ver leary of ever buying music from there as I don't have an iPod. Christian Zombie Vampires
