Any physicist would tell you that time travel is possible. You can't travel into the past, but if you had fast enough equipment (which does not exist, probably wont ever) you could travel far out into outer space and return and you would actually be ahead of where you would naturally be.
You can look into the past every night, as long as you live somewhere with stars. When you look into the sky at night, you do not see where the stars are in the present.
