I encourage anything my kids are good at but never force them to do anything. I always tell them when they start something I expect them to give it a real go (which I have found they always have done....Taylor did violin for 3 years and was getting straight A's and then said ok mum I enjoyed it but I would like to stop now and focus on some other things...so that was fine...she committed to it for a decent amount of time and therefore could make an accurate decision for herself.

There isn't anything they are doing that I wanted to do growing up so no Im not living my dreams through them ...but hell I would like to be able to waltz like Taylor and Tyryn

I'm strict...but fair....they are lucky kids that have great opportunities because we make sure to give them to them....however I will not have any disrespect .....and I certainly won't let them get away with any bad behaviour!
