Re the UK trip, I think she thinks we won't have time or something. We've said we'll see Dan too, at some point. It's not like she has a problem being sociable with new people. She's different when she goes to the UK though. She doesn't really drink and she likes nice, quiet pubs. When exactly are you planning to go to the UK?? Maybe I can make a weekendtrip to the Uk as well!  1st December to 6th January, with the 8th-15th of Dec. in Ireland.  | |

i think the magic of facebook seems to be running across people you haven't seen in forever, sending a "HEY! I REMEMBER YOU! LOL" message, adding them to your friends list, then forgetting about them again. i've reunited with a lot of people on facebook, and it hasn't amounted to squat...other than it's nice to "see" them again, i guess. 
i haven't seen anyone i really loathe on facebook. i think they all communicate via crystal balls and sith holograms anyway. | |

And now someone I barely knew from high school found me. And I thought it rude to decline the friend request. I opened accounts for Facebook and Myspace not long after they started. I never use them now as the age profile became too young - I'm 35 and feel like a complete paedophile on any social networking site now. So I ignore all requests and have no intention of posting pictures of the minutae of my life on the net.
So I'm a cyber-luddite and just use email. And one of my accounts is leo@leo*****.com (the asterics being my surname) so if people can't figure that one out, fuck 'em. | |
