I'm on Facebook more at the moment though. me too, eventhough I hated it in the beginning! Can't remember logging on to MySpace anymore.... Yeah, I have two myspace accounts but haven't done anything there, besides log in and log almost straight out again, for probably a year. I don't do much on Facebook either, come to think of it, but I stay online a while and look around a bit and occasionally leave a message or picture comment. I think I prefer it.

She rode on my school bus from grades 1-12 and I (still) think she's a beeyotch. hell, if someone i hated from school tried to request me, i would take great delight in denying them and being very specific and articulate about my reasons why. i might even find a way to express myself in rhyme - the magic of poetry always gets the message across! Not that I HATED her as much.. but I just didn't "enjoy" her, thus do not want to let her have a share in my morning News Feed. It's like a reunion that never ends.

One of my friends made a fake profile name, and gave people he knew in real life the fake name. That way he could still lurk and communicate if he wanted to, but didn't have to announce everything. It was a bit strange, but he's a freethinker like RenHoek. sheesh, who's that important? i don't give a shit who knows i'm on facebook. if there's something i don't want people to know, i don't post it. doesn't seem difficult to me, even though i know EVERYONE learns about online TMI tact the hard way, myself included.

True. I intend to spend my life with my wife, and that could mean another 50 years or more. For the last 2 or 3 years I have not won one single argument owing to one short sentence: "Yeah, but you put pictures of your ass on prince.org"

Ya, I think it's rude because I don't think it's a big deal....but whatever, you don't want to talk to them so who cares what they think of you?

if someone from work tried to add me, i would decline with one hand and use my other hand to pinch my nipples with wicked wanton glee. that was probably TMI, but i wanted to be clear. when i'm writing a status update on facebook, or doing a bulleting survey on myspace, i often forget that i have friends on them who i do/did work with and my underaged cousins. it's difficult. but i usually don't give a fuck. I dunno maybe I'm just buckin' the norm... that's weird. the only people i've really "seen" there are people i already do know or knew at some point before. and i don't even bother noticing anyone else, usually, so i can't say i've "met" anyone on there oh, except that one guy. he was the first one i didn't already know to click "yes" on me on "are you interested?" and he made it in before i realized that adding people from some random app is crazy.

[Edited 9/4/08 2:56am] Mon absolutely rocks at it, the only thing you have to is watch where she's taking while crossing a street! Mon frightens me when we cross the street. I feel like I need to protect her, but it causes all manner of confusion if I try to hold her back when she's going for it and nearly always ends up in us both getting run over. Now I let her go and then pick my spot, which usually means she waits at the other side for 5 minutes or so. Re the UK trip, I think she thinks we won't have time or something. We've said we'll see Dan too, at some point. It's not like she has a problem being sociable with new people. She's different when she goes to the UK though. She doesn't really drink and she likes nice, quiet pubs.

Then a bunch of my friends posted pics from a recent trip we went on together there and that seemed my only way to see the pics - to open an account. So I did. And now someone I barely knew from high school found me. And I thought it rude to decline the friend request. But now I'm getting requests from all kinds of people I barely knew in high school and have no intention of getting to know now. Is it utterly rude to decline them all? I dont accept ppl I dont want to stay in touch with. But there are loads I doooo I will love you forever and you will never be forgotten - L.A.F. ![]()
