Howard's had the best in music on his show for years - who could forget him jamming with Bo Diddley or when his band the Losers did "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" with James Brown? And he's always gave rappers a forum on his show, going back to the mid 80's with RunDMC.

My favorite Stern show musical guest is Ozzie. It's fun trying to figure out WTF he's saying.

it's amazing how good the music sounds coming outta that studio. Do you have sirius? cause they've been doing the evolution of the Losers this week and now it's on the "The Legends" I hate it when they are on vacation but this one has been great.
yeah I love it when Robin will interpret for Ozzie lol

I was so annoyed when I tuned in Monday and realized he was on vacation yet again that I haven't been listening all week. I know he'll be out again on Monday; will he be off all next week too?

I know! but listen now for the music. biggrin
I'm not sure if he's out next week too but I'd assume so cause they usually take 2 weeks.

I don't have Sirius, but I have dozens of tapes of Howard's K-Rock show from 1986 to when he left in 2006.

I was very impressed with the bee gees! they sounded awesome, as did James Taylor but...ofcourse he sounded good. The bee gees was from 97? (I think) I wonder if he's as happily married as he was then. wink Stevie was good but...his voice was kinda crummy and he did only small snippets of songs.

Ace

Was worth it for the Sting/Trudy interview alone. Much as I dislike El Stingo, they're always great guests.

Howard is back and I am happy as a clam. I spit coffee all over my desk with the "All by Myself" song parody and I can't stop laughing about the "measurement study" stuff.

Shorty, Ace, Roodboi, anybody else--you listening?
