i had the WORST matcha latte today Really, it was awful.
The matcha powder was just sorta floating on top of the milk, not mixed in at all. I would've complained, but I'd gotten it to go and didn't have time to go back to complain. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

It's 8:40, saturday morning. Went to bed early this yesterday and I slept enough. Still in pj's, though, and in need of coffee. I like coffee. Straight up coffee, most times, espresso if possible, sometimes a cappucino, if it's from a good make (meaning not too milky and enough foam)

school? School starts Tuesday. I'm a little on edge about that, but it's nothing I can't handle. Bad tea in Vancouver though? That was a surprise. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

The coffee where I work is surprisingly good. Nothing fancy, just coffee and the standard, non-snooty stuff to go with it. i.e. cream and sugar. Why it's surprising that it's so good is because I work in the kitchen at a bingo hall! "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I think sometimes, like at Starbucks, they don't try very hard. Their iced chai is nothing more than tea thrown into milk, with a little ice, and boom it's ready. $3 a pop, too.

My nasty matcha latte wasn't from Starbucks though, but Blenz. Which is so disappointing because usually they're fairly decent. Fuck it. It's indie-owned beverages for me or nothing! [Edited 8/31/08 22:51pm] "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
