A Good education Or The Ability To Adapt

Which is really more important in this day and age?

Good education, because hopefully those who are educated will know how to adapt. But it's a futile question as they go hand-in-hand.
I mean, like, where is the sun?

for those of us who have waylayed the
GOOD EDUCATION the abikity to adapt
is by far, the most important.
there are those who have great
education as well as educational skills,
that would find themselves in
DEEP SHIT outside of their coriculum (sp)
and on these streets of the REAL WORLD!!!

It's funny because almost all of the celebrities who are famous now didn't go to college.I wonder if Prince even finished high school?I would say the ability to adapt is more important because things change so fast and it is to your benefit to learn how to interact with other people.Because life can throw you a curve and you never know who may be your neighbor or what situation you may be in that may require quick thinking just to survive.

I think that is totally dependent on the field your in. Everything I'm invloved in doesn't pay to get schooled because of the rapid pace of which it chages.

I think there is more benifits to "on the job training" for certain fields of interest than others.

Law school, medicine, things like that.

If I went into a doctor's office, I'd expect you to have a degree before I drop my draws.

I agree with my father. I personally did not like school, but that never stopped me from trying to teach myself the things that I need to know. A good education is only good if you're trying to get a job in the field that you studied, but even that don't help people if you noticed.

Master Adapter here!

Learned early that "education" meant giving the
instructor whatever they wanted to hear. Once I
learned their personal likes, grades were a snap!

Education provides the foundation. The ability
to adapt gets you through life.
