Off topic, but I just have to say how pleasantly surprised I was by Daniel Craig's characterization of James Bond. Watched Casino Royale a few months ago, and loved how "dark"and brooding he was.

Before seeing "The Bourne Ultimatum," I would've said Bond. After dispatching the thug, Bond would utter some witty/corny remark as he slipped into his fancy sports car.

But, that apartment fight from "TBU" was amazing. So, i'm saying ol' Jason Bourne would prevail.

Things are still pretty calm weather wise but it's become much cooler. I saw one or two gas stations that were closed down when I was out a little while ago, things were pretty quiet. Lots of people are riding out the storm in their apartments or houses and a few of my friends have their family from New Orleans shacking up with them for the storm.

Everyone seems scared, though. This storm is so unpredictable and right now it looks as though it will hit at a category 4 but it could be a 5.

I living in a one bedroom apartment that is on the second (top) floor of my complex. Considering that there is a considerable risk of tornados with this hurricane, I don't think it will be a good idea to stay in my apartment. I've had offers to stay with friends but I think I'll be safer and less bored if I'm at school. Although depending on the conditions/safety of my neighborhood after the storm I may crash with some friends after the storm.



Sorry to bombard you with so much info! I guess I just needed to vent.

Thank you, Mach! I would love some Reiki and any other positive vibes! my mom has a candle going in her kitchen sink for me and I'm going to do some meditation later today to strengthen my focus. And I'm bring my Virgin of Guadalupe statue with me when I head off to school. I know she has my back.

The majority of the animal shelters here in LA are in a bad way and will be worse after the storm and I have a feeling that lots of people will be bringing animals to the school afterwards. We also still have patients in the ICU and the wards and the students who are assigned to those patients may not be able to make it into school to take care of the treatments. I figured that since I'll be there I can take care of it. For the most part, I enjoy doing that kind of stuff. It'll be fun for me.
