That yellow bit is the uncovered end of this sort of a biscuit/cracker stick coated in chocolate.

They also come in almond, vanilla, strawberry, and other flavours.

I've got a whole big case of the little buggers in my apartment right now.

Living in Vancouver, it's ridiculously easy to find Asian snacks. I bought these at a Shopper's, believe it or not. eek

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretz

Pretz is pretty good too. It's made by the same company, and it's usually savoury instead of sweet. The "salad" flavour, (I assume they mean veggie razz ) is pretty damn tasty.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the strawberry ones either. But all the other flavours I'd be willing to knock over a convenience store for. lol

My fave has got to be the "Men's" Pocky, made with bittersweet chocolate. cloud9

I just chalk it up to Japanese weirdness and leave it at that.

LOL @ the tagline on the "Men's" box: "Crispy pretzel
dipped in dark chocolate for the intelligent
connoisseur who enjoys the finer points in life"
What does that even mean? Are only men connoisseurs, or do only men prefer bittersweet over milk chocolate? razz
