Fool.....that should be posted on his forehead.

I vote for DUMBASS! lol He coulda been ready for THIS season if he'd done the surgery 9 months ago instead of opting to play with pain. I really think that fool is on some mo' shit. nod

I agree.....is it me or does it seem like players wait until the new season starts 2 have surgeries they could have had in the off season?

And career threatening.....

Actually, he said he was misquoted about it being career threatening. It's not. But still, why play at less than 100%? Does he think he's THAT damn good?

Kobe put off pinky surgery because he'd be out for 3 months, so he's gonna have it at the end of this upcoming season.

But if he'd had the surgery right after the Olympics he woulda only missed the first few weeks of the season rather than playing with pain, risking greater injury, and not being 100% for the ENTIRE season by playing with pain. Makes no sense. shrug

Well, that's not for certain that he'd miss the first few weeks, because you never know what could happen during recovery. Complications and such that could push his recovery time back. Plus, he can't injure it anymore than it already is and that dude has a high pain threshold and it didn't bother him during the regular season, playoffs, and Olys, so he's good to go.
