I really liked Isis and Black Adam, but I'm a huge Captain Marvel fan (and don't even get me started on what they're doing to those characters). I like the new Question, but my interest was mainly in the last days of the old Question. Are any of the old Charlton characters going to be around by the time the Watchmen movie is released? Anyway, I also enjoyed seeing Booster Gold get a little spotlight. I still wish Isis had lived. Loved her. why are they giving captain marvel a mullet? his look is so iconic - the close cropped black hair, the eyebrows, the cleft chin. why are they turning him into scott stapp??? did they learn NOTHING from the supermullet?

Final Crisis has been crap so far and NO way am I buying all those final crisis tie-in's when they said it would not tie-in in2 other DC stories but then they make like 10 seperate titles 2 buy.
I must say, I am enjoying Marvel's Secret Invasion tho and have been suckered in2 buying all the tie-in's. The Fantastic Four 3 issue special was dope and what not as well as what is happening in Hercules, but I am afraid that since Secret Invasion has been pretty tight so far, the ending is going 2 suck. =-/ As 4 the Spider-man reboot, I am enjoying it but it is frustrating as can be cuz I liked Pete married 2 Mary-Jane. They bring Harry Osbourne back from the dead and Norman is back 2? And there is still an underline that Gwen may be alive as well. Liking Captain America 2 but still miss Steve Rogers. DC comics is being written 4 kids. Marvel took Kevin Smith's advice that kids don't read comic books anymore and made them more adult. Batman rocks and in my opinion seems like a Marvel created character in the only sense that the stories are darker and more adult. Batman R.I.P. has been a total dissapointment aside from the Detective Comics storyline of Hush. I am so confused as 2 what is going on that I read an issue and go..huh? The thing I am liking now is the Variant covers but that is a sales gimmick. Only a few are worth buying or collecting at all. [Edited 8/26/08 20:02pm] Silence Speaks A Thousand Words.

Well, they replaced him. Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) replaced the wizard Shazam (who was killed in Infinite Crisis or one of those other crossovers) and Captain Marvel, Jr. (Freddie Freeman) replaced Captain Marvel. I believe they're calling him "Shazam." I really wish Marvel would just do a good deed and give DC the "Captain Marvel" copyright. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Final Crisis synopsis by Sinister....
*Ahem* Evil wins. Thats it...nothing else...random acts of villainy few heroes killed for shock value. Essentially its a murder mystery disguised as a big Crisis crossover in which the only losers in the whole thing are the people who lost their money paying for it. clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! Im deep quote- song lyric about my ex cause that bitch stole my mp3 player! - line from movie I liked - Prince lyric - not very clever sig mocking other sigs

it just feels like nothing is connected over at DC. either it's trying to be but somewhere it's just not. like the most recent issue of Robin, he's just faffing around with that girl. just hit somebody will you, Robin! [Edited 8/26/08 21:14pm]

The last issue of Robin here had him chasing after the hood, Jason Todd while someone is impersonating him, who he thought was Jason Todd but is someone else. Silence Speaks A Thousand Words.

wow... was that written by Fabien Nicieza? it probably would have been more fun, despite or because of its convoluted nature, if it had been.

Didn't they pull a Dark Phoenix on him and make him evil? Then after that they either ignore him or, if he's featured at all, everyone acts like he's straight.
