In Living Color -vs- madTV?? Me and one of my boys was talkin' and he actually told me that MadTV is greater than In Living Color. Now, my friend is entitled to his own opinion, but it's a pretty well know fact that ILC was one of the most groundbreaking shows when it hit the air in early 1990.
Now, if my homeboy would have said that he likes Mad better than ILC, that's cool. I mean, I like Clyde Drexler way more than Jordan, but I know that MJ >> Clyde. But he just doesn't get it through his head. He than tells me why MadTV is going on it's 14 season and ILC only ran 5... ILC is in the top 5 sketch shows probably (maybe even higher.) And how great was ILC, 5 member of a 5 season cast hosted SNL while 0 members of it's 14 season cat have yet to host SNL. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Easily, it's ILC. The fact that MadTV is still on the air isn't the end all of reasonings. In fact, MadTV is pretty much SNL & ILC combined. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

I agree. Don't get me wrong I love many of the skits on 'MadTV', especially the 'Stewart' sketch lol but I go with 'Living Color' because of the freshness of it. The skits were originals with created characters; 'MadTV' is too sort of but I put it on the same kinda plane I would 'SNL' and it DID launch the stars on that show to stardom. The Wayons Brothers and Jim Carrey went on to do bigger things! I miss those days. "Sign of the times, will mess with your mind. Hurry before it's too late." MadTV has its moments, but generally it makes me appreciate SNL more. ILC had some major stars come out of it, where Mad TV hasn't had a breakout star except within the confines of the show (Michael McDonald, Bobby Lee) My Legacy
