Who I also saw with this same friend....

I kinda like some of Ben Stiller´s movies. That Polly movie was quite good and I also liked Starsky And Hutch and most of the other stuff he did with Owen Wilson. Not that they´re great actors or comedians but they make some really entertaining, lightweight stuff.
Wouldn´t really go to a movie theatre to watch them but I rent their DVDs from time to time.
What´s so bad about Tropic Thunder ? I´ve only seen a commercial and that wasn´t really giving much insight.

Know what is funny? (At least to me) Brent Butt talking about how, if you had enough money you could buy Red Deer, Alberta, pave it, and rebuild it with NERF equipment. I like silly shit.

I quite enjoyed Tropic Thunder, it was a good laugh. But thats how my sense of humor is, I don't get easily offended and like that sort of stuff

I hope Stymie's wrong about this movie, because they kept closing down my beach to film the damn thing and I'd hate to think I went through all that hassle for a piece of shit movie

Oh, and it's ahead of Dark Knight (I'm assuming you mean at the box office) because Dark Knight came out like a month ago, didn't it?
