I agree , the system is messed up .

It used to be (in the old days) - most people just worked for ABC co ... and got health insurance paid for ...

then they had to pay 30.00 every time they went to the Dr...

now - with self employed ... etc ... i am very confused .

My grandfather (a Dr back in the 1950s ) apparently told my dad how messed up this "health insurance " would create in our country and i am constantly thinking about it .... it is wacked ...

I guess the best "deal" is getting involved with a chamber of commerce ... or similar "group" plan ... but how does one "shop and compare" at all with regards to health insurance??? shouldnt there be some sort of "consumer guide" to it all ??? in addition- i have a lil guy with a preexisting condition which makes it damn near impossible and .... admittedly ... $$$$expensive ...
