Leader Dogs for the blind ~ We ( Jessica's senior project for 2009/10 ) were just told we will have the honour of raising our 4th Leader Dog puppy in 2009  
In our past puppy raiser phases the experience has been so incredible

That's so wonderful! I knew a couple who did this - they found it so rewarding. And the pups are adorable! Will you post pics when he/she comes home? | |

Yes I will post some pics ( in 2009 ! )  I could fid some pics of past pups as well
It is very rewarding - the dogs are outstanding and super intelligent - you do the basics for 12 months and then they go back for their training and match ups | |

It must be hard to let the dog go when it's time even though it probably is a very proud moment and that feelings makes it all worth. It's always wonderful to watch what a special relationship a blind person and their dog share.
