I'd question the motive behind people telling me something like "you're good at customer service". Are they just telling me this because they genuinely think I'm good, or do they want someone to wait on THEM, that THEY can push around? Probably sounds pessimistic, but in the question of "is the glass half-empty or half-full?" my answer is "it's both." | |

sometimes cooking, depending on what it is.. .. some dishes are a hot minute to prepare.. others take a little more time to prepare them.. and it's not that i dont like cooking (cause i do love cooking).. but just getting into the mode for a huge dinner (like Soul Food dinners) .. sometimes i dont feel like it.. | |

I'm not really exceptional at anything so I tend to enjoy most things quite a bit. 
I suppose if I had to say one thing that peeves me a little it's that my sister in law and wife both look to me for fashion advice. It's now at the point where my sister in law will choose to buy or not buy something based almost entirely on my opinion. I actually like clothes shopping with them but it's not like I have studied fashion or am even particularly fashionable myself. I just know what I like and for some reason they respect my opinion a lot.  | |

Me too. For instance, I HATE numbers, and will not, under any circumstances, take a job that involves A/P, A/R, Payroll, Bookkeeping, Accounting, or any of that mess. I tried it several times, and it did not work out for me. I think I have a real aversion to numbers, and I HATE math with a passion.
