DORA	OMG...!!! I know..!!! christ i have never had my waxed and never will... cause in 3 years all those nuts are going to b outa luck when that is no longer the style... i remeber my mom did that when having pencil thin eyebrows was in style and then she had to do all kinds of shit to make herself look 1/2 normal again...

Well according to the polls the reason a woman shaves her eyebrows completely off is because they think it's a fashion statement instead of just making them thinner they rather look like clowns who looks excited or surprised all the time. Don't they know that because they do that one of two things can happen they can grow back thicker and give you the unibrow or they won't grow back at all because they've done it so many times. Shit people who were not born with eyebrows are not trying to draw any on.

Naomi	I know my mom used to do that in the seventies, she told me that one time, when they went out for dancing, she accidently rubbed the eyebrow-line away and had to run to the bathroom.. She would never do it again. It is REALLY stupid and ugly!

ummm...i don't know...i ask the same question all the time. on the other hand, why do women (or for that matter men) who have severe bush brows or 'bert' brow (a.k.a unibrow) not do a thing? To pluck...its a good thing wink

The main reason people used to do it was because everyone else was doing it. Like my mom, who grew up in the day of the silver screen starlets.

Today it's because they either don't like natural shape of their brow, and this gives them the opportunity to draw it the way they want it too look, or they want it very thin, and instead of painstakingly tweezing or waxing it thin - it's cheaper and easier to just shave them all off.
