anyone own TARANTULAS? I do. well. 3 of them
they're the boyfriends (he has a whole bunch. all housed separately) anyway he's letting me keep 3 at my new place in st. catharines. i've never had pets like these before. they're kinda creeping me out i have two cages beside each other (until i move my desk in that's the best i can do) and one other cage a few feet away. the two beside each other can smell each other. one of them is sprawled hanging on one side of the cage that looks directly at me. the other is periodically pacing his quarters. i'm only a tad freaked out. i've taped all the cages shut. i just don't trust them (he's getting better ones but damn it) they're huge fuckers! ugh, how am i going to sleep tonight they're right at the head of my bed there's no other way, or else they'd be on the ground, and the puppy and the kitty will fo sho get into them that way what have i gotten myself into? [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]

I'd have to sleep with earplugs, they would make some rustling sounds now and then
AND sleep with your head up the other way

AND sleep with your head up the other way i suppose so it's been about a week, so far so good, i just taped them down tonight. i think i'm just psyching myself out - i want to call my boyfriend but i know he's sleeping [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]

the one stopped pacing and went to bed about 10 minutes ago
the other is just hanging out there. i dunno and the third's been hiding since he got here - but he's got like this wooden house setup in his cage so he's in there chillin out. i'm just going to turn the lights out. [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]

Pity the boyfriend is crazy. Such a pretty man, too. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Hell 2 Tha Muthafuckin' Nizzaw!
I have enough trouble discovering regular ole dust spiders in mah tub...so you know I am not getting anywhere near a Tarantula! AND it's the size of your hand, I would pack my things and leave them to party with and other creatures that are hiding in here. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...

My nephew has two baby tarantulas. I was ok with looking at them through the glass, but he got them out and asked if I wanted to hold one - I wasn't as brave as I thought I would be!

My friend used to keep one and she gave me the cast from when it shed its skin.I had great fun with it at work I would put it in people drawers and then wait till I heard the scream....they all scream. I hate spiders I watched Aracnophobia with my trousers tucked into my socks. these are some pictures I took when I was in Australia last year [Edited 8/21/08 7:36am] Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
