Quit driving. Anyone who lives in a decent sized city can do it easily unless they work out of town. The more people give up their cars or at least reduce their car time, the less demand there will be. Not only that, not driving is easier on the environment and on your wallet. I don't drive and I don't plan on ever driving. I got my license strictly for ID purposes -I'm terrified of going out on the town some night and getting shitfaced drunk and ending up losing my passport. Oh! just quit driving! ah-ha! why didn't I think of that. it's just that simple...duh! "not a fan" yeah...ok

When it came time to get gas for lil sis's car, a car that for over a year now has taken well over 70 dollars to fill up the tank, we expected to be told to whip down our pants and bend over. The bill? $39.63. For the entire tank. Oh, you poor maligned and abused little dears. Excuse me a moment while I look for my violin. so 3 of you split a 40 dollar fill up? yeah...wow..that's is rough. Maybe I'll ask my 4 year old and my 19 month old to kick in for gas this week. Yeah, because gas prices aren't increasing everywhere. That same car that is now being filled for 70$ a tank two years ago could be filled for 40$. That's pretty well close to double. You ARE whining like babies. Seriously. 40 bucks was no skin off our backs, and we're broke-ass college students. oh, you're a college student, i'm sorry, the rest of america and i will stop complaining ASAP! That is funny . In the year that I have lived here (UK), I have yet to see one incidence of road rage. Amazing! The ppl pay that kind of money for gas/petrol here for the same reason we pay what we do in the states. No choice really, if you need it, you pay for it. As I said before, the wages are much higher here. They also tax more because they take care of their own and do not leave them homeless on the streets.

Now I'm reading about folks siphoning gas from others' tanks. In some neighborhoods, you might get shot doing that sh!t. I know that would put me in a rage if I saw a MFer stealing gas from my car.

I ask that question all the time. We are very lucky that we don't have shortages and that gas is as low as it is here. I think that this country would be a LOT more energy minded if Gas cost like it does in other countries. Christian Zombie Vampires

they got us all by the balls! And then when supply is up and demand finally starts falling, you'd think they'd drop the price? Heck no! They just stop producing as much which in turn keeps the prices where they're at.
