 Quit driving. Anyone who lives in a decent sized city can do it easily unless they work out of town. The more people give up their cars or at least reduce their car time, the less demand there will be. Not only that, not driving is easier on the environment and on your wallet. I don't drive and I don't plan on ever driving. I got my license strictly for ID purposes -I'm terrified of going out on the town some night and getting shitfaced drunk and ending up losing my passport. Yeah, because gas prices aren't increasing everywhere. That same car that is now being filled for 70$ a tank two years ago could be filled for 40$. That's pretty well close to double. And yeah, we got it bad in the U.S., but I don't know how in the hell they deal with TRULY ridiculous prices in Europe. OVER 8 BUCKS A GALLON? WHAT THE FUCK? That is funny . In the year that I have lived here (UK), I have yet to see one incidence of road rage. Amazing!
The ppl pay that kind of money for gas/petrol here for the same reason we pay what we do in the states. No choice really, if you need it, you pay for it. As I said before, the wages are much higher here. They also tax more because they take care of their own and do not leave them homeless on the streets. | |

Now I'm reading about folks siphoning gas from others' tanks. In some neighborhoods, you might get shot doing that sh!t. I know that would put me in a rage if I saw a MFer stealing gas from my car. |
